General waste skip bins in Sydney
Clear out a garage, spare room or whole house with a Marrel skip bin sized for the job. Compare general household prices below, then send a short enquiry so we can confirm your load, location and access.
For household clear-outs
General household bins suit furniture and everyday household rubbish from clearing rooms, storage areas or a property. Tell us about the main items you want to remove, especially large pieces that take up space even when the rest of the load is small.
A household clean-out can include materials that need a different waste category. Keep garden waste, renovation materials and heavy rubble in mind when describing your job. The published general household prices are for that category; we confirm the appropriate rate for a combined or uncertain load.
Choose space for the bulky items
A 2m³ or 3m³ bin is a useful starting point for a small clean-out or garage tidy-up. Consider 4m³ to 6m³ when clearing several rooms, and 6m³ to 8m³ for a whole-house clean-out. These are rough guides: bulky furniture can change the size you need.
Our range extends to 10m³ for larger light-waste loads. Bricks, concrete, tiles and soil must be discussed separately and are limited to bins of 6m³ or smaller. Choose “Not sure” on the enquiry form if you would like help deciding.
Check the items before loading
Mattresses, tyres, gas bottles, car batteries, chemicals, liquid paint and asbestos cannot go in our bins. Whitegoods, fridges and e-waste may need extra handling and attract an additional fee, so mention them before your quote is confirmed.
Keep the load below the rim, including furniture that might stick out above it. Overfilled bins cannot be transported. For the full list of restrictions, read our skip bin FAQs before the bin arrives.
Plan the position and pickup
Plan where you will carry items from and leave room to load the bin. Tell us about a steep driveway, narrow gate or low overhead wires so we can discuss truck access. A driveway, yard or work site may suit; placement on a road or footpath usually needs a council permit.
Check our Sydney service areas and tell us your suburb when we follow up. We will confirm delivery details with you.
Tell us about the job
Start with four details.
The initial enquiry asks for your name, phone number, waste type and bin of interest. No payment or booking is made at this stage. We will confirm the delivery location, hire period, access and any special items before providing your final quote.
